This is my fourth tattoo, the Keyblade and the basic symbol of the Kingdom Hearts series. Kingdom Hearts has taught me about the true complexity of the heart and its abilities. It’s also taught me that when your friends are in mind, any obstacle can be overcome. It’s taught me the power of light, no matter how dark something may be. It has been t one of the best things that has ever been introduced in my life. The music, the storyline, everything, has been life-changing. I’m in my freshman year of college, and I got super down and homesick. I couldn’t play it, because the console/games are at home. I really wanted to play, because it reminds me of the good times I’ve had while playing with friends and family, and I got so homesick, I decided to finally get the tatt.And I love it.Done by Brandon at Body Language Tattoo in Cheney, Wa.

My second tattoo; Deathly Hallows, “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death”.I don’t care how cliche it is. It’s easily reconized as Harry Potter, which I’m sure we’re all saying it was a part of our lives and childhood for so long. Taught us everything, was there for us at the bad times, etc. And that’s exactly right for me.Done by Brandon at Body Language Tattoo in Cheney, WA on October 1, 2011.  High-res

If I could summarize some of my best childhood moments, it would playing the Legend of Zelda. My triforce tattoo means the world to me and is a constant reminder to carry on and to not dwell on the hard times. Other then representing the three goddesses of Hyrule, the triforce also represents, power, wisdom and courage. This is the final line, in the final book of the Harry Potter series, with the Deathly Hallows symbol forming the A. I tracked down the font used in the first editions and copied that so it would feel more genuine. This symbolises both endings and beginnings for me, and serves as a reminder of the magic of escapist literature. High-res
